Bubble Tea (also called Boba Tea) is a tea based drink that originated in Taichung, Taiwan in the 1980s. You might recognize this drink by its signature Tapioca balls. Beyond that, there’s MANY variations of this drink. We feature a maple flavor in this video, but you can substitute maple syrup for other sweet syrups, such as brown sugar.
Make sure to have a a bubble tea straw, as the tapioca pearls won’t fit through most standard straws.
