Making Wine Seltzer at home is super easy. White Claw and Truly are refreshing summer hard seltzers, but what if you want something wine based? Barefoot and a few others have come up with their versions, but you can make it even more deliciously at home, and save a lot of money, too!

We use a SodaStream to carbonate water, because we have delicious reverse osmosis water on tap. If you don’t have a SodaStream, you can just use store bought club soda.
All you need to do for a Wine Seltzer is mix 40% of the wine of your choosing with 60% carbonated water or club soda. The wine we used was a dry Pinot Grigio. We recommend adding a little simple syrup to taste if you’re using a dry wine. To ensure maximum refreshness, chill all your ingredients before mixing.
There’s countless options for additional additions. You can add some mint, cucumber, lime, etc. to your carbonated water to give it some additional freshness. What combinations of wine and flavors do you think work well? Let us know below in the comments.
