Our quick method to chill wine is to wrap it in a wet paper towel and throw it into the freezer for 15-30 minutes. It’ll be nice and cold in it’s frozen cocoon. Additionally, you can throw your wine in the freezer without it for about 45 minutes to an hour. If you plan ahead, store your wine in the fridge for up to a few days before you plan to drink (store it as long as you want for unopened screw cap bottles, cans, or boxed wine).

One thing we do not recommend is ice cubes. Putting ice cubes in wine will dilute water into the wine, altering the taste. Of course, if this is something you like, do what you want! Some other alternatives to ice cubes are frozen grapes, frozen stainless steel balls, or whiskey stones.

Also, if you want to store your wine properly and always have it at the right temperature for you, we recommend this wine cooler:

Mosel, Germany- Fine, fruity Riesling bouquet, with a well-balanced palate and a hint of exotic fruit. A very crisp, refreshing and straight forward Riesling. Goes well with salads, chicken and Asian cuisine, or enjoy it on its own as an easy-drinking summer wine or aperitif.
